Owners and managers of busy companies outsource to messaging production professionals because they want quality work, done well and on time. Most people aren’t too worried about how it all happens as long as the end result is suitable.
However, some, especially those who have previously tried to record their own, are interested in how the whole process works – and at the end, all are amazed at just how much hard work goes into making a great on hold production.
So if you are in the ‘curious to find out’ category, we’ve broken it down for you and you can see for yourself how the perfect combo of great voices, experience, equipment, and skills works to produce a great messaging program.

  • Client Liaison and Research.

The production manager will meet with the client and discuss the companies needs, history, ideas, and expectations. They will then research the best ways to script that information by using their own expert research and experience.

  • Idea Creation.
Based on the clients briefing and information the production team will explore different ways to use it and create a number of great scripts for the client.
  • Client

The client will be presented with the script options to choose from and given information as to how each one works for their customers. At this stage, if the client feels they need a different angle the production team will go back and re-work different ideas.

  • Selection of Voice.

Once the client has agreed on a certain script the production team will audition and find the best voice over artist to suit the script and represent the client’s company.

The voice over artist will spend a lengthy time recording the script in a professional recording suite, using take after take until the right tone and pacing is achieved.

  • Editing & Production of Audio.

The production team will get to work using high-quality techniques and software, editing the audio to make it clear and professional sounding. They will then add any effects or music if it is in their clients brief.

  • Initial Delivery.

The finished work is shown to the client for the first time.

  • Fine Tuning.

Any mistakes or adjustments are corrected.

  • Final Delivery & Implementation.

The final work is delivered and signed off on by the client. The audio is then implemented on the client’s messaging system.
